Man Who Spent $16,000 to 'Become' a Dog Now Wants to Transform Into Another Animal
After acquiring an ultra-realistic costume worth $16,000, the Japanese man who went viral for 'transforming' into a dog now seeks to embody another animal.
In 2022, the anonymous man, known as Toco, reached out to a professional agency called Zeppet and requested a costume of a Collie breed dog, as reported by NDTV. The costume, which cost around $16,000, took 40 days to complete.
On his YouTube channel, Toco documented his new life experiences, such as his "training" to become a dog, which included learning tricks, going for walks on a leash, and "eating" dog food.
Now, in a recent interview, he expressed his interest in transforming into another animal, such as another dog breed, a panda, a bear, a fox, or a cat. "Of course, I would like to become another animal as well," he said in a conversation with the Japanese news outlet WanQol.
"I could realistically be able to become another dog, a panda, or a bear. A fox or a cat would also be cool, but they are too small for humans to attempt. I would like to fulfill my dream of becoming another animal someday."
Despite posting videos about his journey and amassing over 67,000 subscribers, Toco has not revealed his identity, admitting to being concerned about people's opinions, especially from family and colleagues.
However, on social media, he receives many supportive comments from viewers who admire his dedication. "It is truly a joyous experience to be able to become something different from myself. I am thrilled and happy to be someone other than myself," celebrated Toco.
